Zach and the Wise Man

Remember that brief discussion about the wise man loving reproof . . . or reproach? Well, I've not been able to determine whether Zach was right with his "reproach" comment or me with my "reproof" thought . . . but here is a link that discusses the essence of proverbs, the wise man, and one who appreciates instruction and correction.

I've not been able to find what i thought i was quoting . . . so i must have made it all up in some sort of mind jumble. I think I had the essence of the truth correct: the wise person loves to be corrected because it increases their knowledge.

So . . . take that thought with you today and I'll give you more choir corrections tomorrow.

Peace!

Clay . . . so profound! That is right up there with "Don't eat yellow snow."

On the topic, here’s an anonymous quote I read once about “wisdom” that made me laugh:

“Wisdom and maturity are simply the gradual process of being disappointed.”

Hey you guys, this is Bekah, another who is too lazy to make a profile...I just wanted to comment on how incredibly cool this blog thing is, and how I've totally missed out since like, September! Why, you may ask, has Bekah not been watching the choir blog? I really don't know how to answer that question...maybe I think I'm too busy? Naah...once I read all of Dr. Copeland's hilarious inserts I've been missing, I think ANYONE can make time for this blog deal. I love the random insert of hyperlinks, too, and thoroughly enjoyed reading about the Wally world brand of baby diapers as opposed to Luvs and Pampers...what a bargain! We should SO promote this thing more in class...just wanted to share my excitement!!! I love you all!!

Holy crap! That car ad was almost too much for me! **Warning** This ad is NOT appropriate for choir members with overactive bladders or whose family has a history of heart problems (you know who you are):-p

hey Copeland, you're slacking off ;)

did you know that there's a band called Copeland? Well, there is, and while I can't really tell you if I like their music or not, because I've only heard one song, I can tell you that as soon as they make a tshirt with just the band name on it, your choir will proudly proclaim to be your family while sporting a tshirt with your last name on it! ...or maybe that's just me. but i thought it was neat.
