Thanks for tonight, everyone.
It was a beautiful moment of honoring the fallen from the Virginia Tech tragedy. I appreciate all those who came tonight and sang . . . I thought it was a perfect occasion for our choir to provide a musical context for the service.
It seems to me that we have become a new choir in the past week or so . . . one that cares more and loves to sing even more . . . am I imagining that?

It was a touching moment and an honor to have the chance to do what we do best for such an event...come together and invest ourselves in the music.
We should make that a goal more often.

Even though it may not seem like it, the more you expect out of us, the more you may be receiving. I also really appreciate your heart and dedication to the choir. Maybe you are just reaping what you are sowing.
