NewChoirMemberBloggers

Great singers that blog, who could ask for anything more?

The new ones that I know about:

1. Marybeth Verchot. That's right, I've been reading her blog for months and she didn't know about it. Watch out, this choir director knows how to use the internet. Marybeth is finally in the EXACT right place at the EXACT right time. Great last sentence in that Aug. 18 blog, MBV. Welcome!

2. Chris Josof. Two blogs and a low D. Here is the first. Here is the second--with pictures. Welcome Chris!

3. Jacki Roche. Welcome, Jacki! . . . But don't mouth off to this lifeguard. In her words:
some people at the pool are really rude to the lifeguards. Which I don’t think is a very good idea because what if you drown? That lifeguard that you were just rude to and talked to with no respect may save you… but then again… may not.
Choir notes:
Excellent beginning today. Big sounds. If I can help somebody is going to be quite thrilling. Read here about some background on my favorite pieces ever.

I am really excited about being in your class, and also still a little freaked out that you read my journal without me knowing. I don't think I would have used nearly so much profanity, haha.

I found it because you mentioned "UAB" and "choirs" in a blog one time . . . a search tool that I use led me to you. Interesting, eh?

Indeed. I'll have to keep in mind to never mention a professor by name in my journal. Ever.

Oh, and also I thought I'd add that I've been reading your blog since about February. BWAHAHA!

Hi, Dr. Copeland! Here's a blast from the past for ya...This is Ashley Williams. Tara gave me her blog address and it was linked to this one, so I've been getting updated on what's been going on for the past few months...Looks like great things have been happening--congrats on the France competition! I'm so happy that I was able to be a part of the beginning stages of the evidently great choir it has become. Anyways, just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know that I have developed a blog as well, if you or anyone else wanted to catch up with me. Look forward to hearing other great things from you and the choir!!!

Hey Dr. Copeland I have been visiting this blog for a couple of months now and I would like to make a suggestion to you aside from putting announcements about concert choir could you please put announcements for womens as well because I think it would be helpful for the girls or you could set up a blog for them and tell the girls about it so there will be no miscommunications about dates and times when you want them to sing this is just a suggestion.
