Wow-that director certainly was about controlling the momentum, wasn't she? It was a very "vertical" performance of the piece-there was no real build, no real climax, certainly no excitement...Singing it so very slowly left no room for any life, either. I think the way we sang it gave a sitting on the edge of your seat experience-it may have been too fast, but it took risks, and this choir didn't, and didn't seem to want to-no one strained at the leash, so to speak...

The guys have a great sound. No comment on the girls, especially in those last "Aleluia"'s.
I could maybe use a 100 bpm increase in tempo, nonetheless...
what is their original language?
they made me sleepy... and wincey. it was an interesting separation in the final alleluia part.
