ok so does it matter if the product description of the brookstone adapters warns that they do not convert voltage? i found a kit at walmart --> http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=2676654&cat=14590&type=1&dept=4044&path=0%3A4044%3A90548%3A228086#long_descr

this one says it converts voltage...
i have a feeling this might be important...

Another shameless plug for the store I work at:

Psst! At Rosenberger's in Brookwood mall and the Summit, Voltage Valet power converters, adapters, etc. Ours have a higher voltage range than any you could buy at Wal-Mart (you need to know what power your appliance requires). Also, passport cases (traditional or colors) and money belts so you don't get robbed. In Addition, wheeled suiters (for your formals) and carry on bags--luggage tags (the big bright ones), luggage straps, all kinds of other stuff. You can get it all at one place rather than run around town and you will make Mrs. Rosenberger love me since I'm always late to work!
