No ACDA National Convention This Year

I got the letter today, and we did not get in the ACDA National Convention this year.

It's no big surprise, I didn't think that our application was as strong as it could have been.

Am I disappointed? A little.

Will I get over it? Of course.

So what is there to look forward to?

Verdi Requiem in February.
Europe in the summer.
The best choir yet.

Wisdom from others:

"Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm." (Winston Churchill)

"It is better to have tried and failed than to have failed to try -- the result is the same." (Unknown)

And, my favorite:

"Kids, you tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is: never try." (Homer Simpson)

Well, the ACDA National Convention doesn't know what they are missing! I have a great feeling about this year!

Where can we find/hear recordings of the Verdi Requiem? Know of any online?
