How to call France

Found this site today, and though you may be interested if you ever make international phone calls.

It helps you deal with all the unfamiliar numbers and codes.

And . . . it even tells you what time it is over there. (I have problems remembering that France is 7 hours ahead of us.)

Bon jour!

When I was in Paris as a 14 year old CHILD, I didn't realize how difficult it would be to call home from Europe. My piece of advie to those of you travelling, I would research for the BEST way calling home before just buying a normal calling card. WHAT I ENDED UP DOING: My original calling card wouldn't work right, so I actually called VISA (while in Scotland) to purchase an international calling card directly from them, it required the least amount of numbers to dial, no matter which country I was in(England, Scotland, or France). I think it is cheaper if you do it that way, because VISA re-emburses all the overseas surcharges and crap... HAVE FUN FIGURING OUT WHICH WAY IS BEST FOR YOU!!
